About the blog
Hi everyone! I'm Denny and I just got into the idea of a "personal web" after looking at it through a YouTube video. I really think this indie/alternative side of the internet is super cool and I would love to connect with people that share my same interests going forward in this! (hopefully I will also learn something about HTML lol, so far so good ig).
This blog started as an idea on the 4th of October, in the night. I just came back home and I started my night routine, consisting of my melatonine + some chill content to get to sleep. I opened YouTube and I read something that suddenly grabbed my attention "Basic Guide to the personal Web"
Then I grabbed my laptop and immediately started with Zonelets and Neocities. I'm fairly new to everything, but the idea of knowing a bit of coding, combined with the chance to write about whatever I want keeping a LONG DISCUSSION open is really interesting. In the past the idea of blogging tempted me, therefore I got started with Wordpress before and then Substacks...none of them worked. The mainstream idea of blogging is to make PROFIT out of it and, in my opinion, it implies that it will of course become less relatable and more distant to the audience overtime. I don't want an audience at the moment, but rather a group of people I feel comfortable talking with, about topics that fuel my creativity even more instead of scaling it down as social media tends to do.
